Our last few days in London were the perfect ending to our incredible journey abroad. Chevhaun and I mastered the Underground right away and hit all the main attractions; Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square. Chevhaun went to Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum and had a ball looking at all the wax creations from David Beckham to Tom Cruise to the Madame herself. I pinched my pennies and made way to Oxford Street and managed to only spent one pound. We also visited The London Dungeon which was fun and included a bone chilling boat ride through the dark (okay so it wasn't very scary at all but we screamed for the hell of it anyway). Eithne, a girl we spent time with in Spain met up with us and we all went for dinner at Wagamama's noodle bar.We caught a play called Avenue Q in Leicester Square afterwords which was dead brilliant! Imagine a racy musical with furry puppets and laugh out loud comedy, Sesame Street for adults and we loved every minute. The trip home was long and we didn't even get to sit together, but each managed to strike up conversation with an avid bird watcher and a woman who's daughter worked in the same care facility as Chevhaun at one point. Small world. Us jet setters were jet legged and sad to say goodbye to the old country but are already scheming up our next grand adventure. First Europe, now.... the world, muhahahahaha.
